Happy December! I missed our thought last week so I have two this week and I think that they compliment each other. I hope you are all having a wonderful December so far.

Remember this month to feel of the greatness that Jesus Christ is. He provided an inspiring and rock solid example of what we can be. Go forth and feel of his love and pass it along.

"There is no one perfect way to be a good mother... Each mother has different challenges, different skills and abilities, and certainly different children... What matters is that a mother loves her children deeply and, in keeping with the devotion she has for God and her husband, prioritizes them above all else."

"Do ye love me?"

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind” (Luke 10:27; see also Matthew 22:37–38).
And if at such a moment we can stammer out, “Yea, Lord, thou knowest
that I love thee,” then He may remind us that the crowning
characteristic of love is always loyalty.
“If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15),
Jesus said. So we have neighbors to bless, children to protect, the
poor to lift up, and the truth to defend. We have wrongs to make right,
truths to share, and good to do. In short, we have a life of devoted
discipleship to give in demonstrating our love of the Lord.

Alma's
prayer ~ In the face of heavy persecution Alma asked simply to have his
sorrow swallowed up in the joy of Christ, despite the oppression and
wickedness around him. He did not ask for the persecution removed, just
to be able to endure it with joy. Take this as we go forth through the
week and have JOY!
"Imagine what a little time can do for your family . . ."
“So
frequently we mistakenly believe that our children need more things,
when in reality their silent pleadings are simply for more of our
time."—President Thomas S. Monson
“Very often in our anxiousness for the joys of the future we run
away from the very things we are wanting and needing today. An
appropriate examination of the passing moment will prove it leads to
eternity. We need to constantly remind ourselves eternity is in process
now.”
–Marvin J. Ashton, “The Time Is Now”, Ensign, May 1975, 85
